Por intermedio de su padre -el grabador italiano
Raoul Veroni- RV recibió su formación como artista
gráfico.
A través de los años Veroni ha cubierto el espectro
de las técnicas de grabado: xilografía (entre 1986
y 1987), aguafuerte (87/88), litografía (desde el 88 a la
fecha), serigrafía (a partir del 89) y arte digital (desde
el 98)
A pesar de todos estos emprendimientos la mayoría de los
conocimientos gráficos de RV fueron aplicados a la realización
de libros de artista y series de monocopias. RV ha trabajado en
esta última técnica desde 1985.
Estas series están a menudo inspiradas en
fuentes literarias y, en ocasiones, desde los propios escritos del
artista. La serie aquí reproducida está basada en
en el infierno de Dante.

It was from his father - the Italian printmaker
Raoul Veroni - that RV received his formation as a graphic artist.
Throughout the years he has worked with a wide range of printmaking
techniques: woodcuts between 1986 to 1987, etchings in 1987/88,
lithography from 1988 to date, screenprinting from 1989 onwards
and digital art from 1998.
Although working in many different media, the majority of Veroni´s
graphic research has been applied to the making of artist´s
books and monoprint series.
As early as 1985 RV has been working on monoprinting techniques.
These series of his early years were often inspired by classical
literary sources and - on occasions - from his own writings. The
images reproduced here are based on Dante´s Hell.
