Homero Manzi fue uno de los mas reconocidos poetas del tango. Por muchas décadas el viejo café de una esquina honró la memoria del poeta. Al momento en que esta foto fue tomada el café había cerrado y estaba siendo demolido. Actualmente una distinguida confitería continúa con el lugar y el nombre.

Homero Manzi was one of the most important Tango poets. For many years a café in this corner honoured his name, becoming a city landmark. At the time this photo was taken the café was being demolished. Lately an elegant restaurant named after Manzi reopened at the same site, keeping the memory of the poet alive.
